Ah so THATs how you snagged such a stunner, no one else around hehe (please know I just got off of work with a bunch of "ball busters" and I'm in that kind of mood, I'm sure you're just a great guy and fit well together).

We live here now because of our daughter, but hope to get back to a big city, somewhere, in the next couple years.

Actually, I prefer the small towns, I'm not much of a big city person believe it or not, i'd much prefer to live in Vermont somewhere that's far enough away that I can go walking outside in my backyard wearing nothing and have nobody be able to see me (or a model) yet close enough that I can drive at least 30 minutes or less and get to a large convenient store and go shopping etc. and not have to worry about a hospital being too far away either, somewhere in the middle I suppose.

Close enough to actually be able to have access to models to I suppose

I'm sure it will be good for your daughter, and I think that's really great!

I'm a little confused by the notes; was this taken in 1964?

It's a confusing lens!! It has a date (May 25 1964) stamped into the side of the lens - I dont know why.

Maybe we should move out west and have fog on-demand.

We get fog pretty regularly this time of year in Portland, but unlike where you are I have to drive a while to get to that kind of open space, so it's a trade off.

It was very foggy yesterday, a fog of almost West Coast proportions; my wife and I headed out to the countryside for some quick 8x10 "snaps".

Thank you, Jonathan; going barefoot was her idea, and I tried to dissuade her, as it was pretty cold (5˚C).
I agree with you about the coat, it makes a great contrast to the soft light created by the fog.
Maybe we should move out west and have fog on-demand.

Ari, we should all move west to BC to get away from the horrible Ottawa winters! Lovely photos.
