    Street Photography Project

I've been working on a series of portraits taken on one street in Hamilton, Ontario.
Kenilworth Avenue is a gritty part of town and I've been making images on the one street for about a year now.
I've just finished printing a bunch of the negatives for a presentation on the work that I'm making next week.
Most of the work is portraiture although sometimes I'll shoot an urban landscape if it interests me.

I'll post images as I get them flattened.

I read through your blog posts Rob and it looks like an awesome project. Really enjoying the portraits and how, by shooting a series, they are tying together a place.

Went to LA downtown with Domenico and walked the streets and shot a dozen with my Graflex super d with a 7 1/2 " f/3.5 cooke lens with no aperture. Domenico told me to use my other lens with aperture next time. Here are a few of them.

I assume both of you go back with prints to give to the subjects if you happen to see them. Makes for better relations not only for you, but for other photographers who might decide to do a similar project.

    Jim,

I will go back with prints to find these people again in a few weeks.

I've looked at these several times now, I think the format and the horizontal composition works well on these, I rather like them. Please post more and keep up the good work.

I've printed and flattened a few more.

Yes I do take them a print. I have a log book that I keep and I record what they think of the images in it.
