LF'ers in CT? New Haven/Bridgeport area?

    Hey guys!

So there's many LF'ers in NYC and many in MA but are there any in CT?

Especially in the Bridgeport or New Haven areas?

Would love to actually get to meet some of you

I don't live down that way. However, my employer's headquarters is in Bridgeport and I get down there a couple of times a year. I would love to meet for coffee the next time around.

There quite a number of us in CT and western MA. See http://nelfpc.com/about.

Although I live in western MA, New Haven is only 1.5 hours south. Many live closer.

Are you aware of any nice locations ?

Not sure what qualifies as nice as there are many spots in CT, parks etc.

Sleeping giant has a nice castle overlook but requires hiking, there's also a drive up overlook point.

Northampton ma has really lovely spits but is 2 hours from me.

Hmm, doesn't look like anything has happened with them since 2011, are you a member?

THe New England Large Format Photography Collective is quite active, in fact we just one month ago concluded a Large Format Exhibition of 80 photographs from 40 or so LF photogs all to benefit surviving cancer patients in central CT.
We are 20+ members, recently we lost our member who took care of the web site and updates.
Please join us for a NELFPC meeting on Dec. 8th in Springifield MA at the Valley Photo Center. Send an email to the contact info on the NELFPC website or contact me via a PM and I will give you more specifics.
    Best regards, Steve Sherman
