Any ideas to mate this Linhof head to this Manfrotto 028 tripod?

Perhaps a nice Pinot Noir and some candlelight.

Maybe I'm a little slow, but I only just got this. It appears that what was missing was lubricant, and some Barry White (optional).

I didn't buy mine new, I got them just right. Nobody wants them anyway. The cry is always 'too heavy'. I like cheap heavy cameras and tripods.

The only thing new I buy is X-Ray film.

That's a lovely tripod, unfortunately it's about $2800 over my budget for tripods. I've put about $75 total into this set-up as is.
