Everyone, I have resigned as a moderator.

I have known this was coming and have been tapering off my involvement as a moderator for months and virtually became a moderator in name only.

Unless you have been a moderator on a contentious forum such as this, it is hard to understand the challenges and dilemas one faces. These guys attempt a heartfelt and meaningful effort to the best of their abilities. It is virtually thankless both here at at home. Seeing how I agonized over some decisions here, my wife wanted me to quit years ago, but I convinced her it was a worthwhile effort.

Anyway there is just too much on my plate these days to do justice to the job. It has been sometimes fulfilling, sometimes frustrating but all in all a contribution I was happy to make. This is a great community. Now its time to concentrate all my energies on my photography and my family.
