This sentence in the Ilford announcement seems a little odd - "If you know of any please ask them to get in touch through news@harmantechnology.com." This seems to say that "they" rather than you must let them know. I know of one darkroom in this area operated by a camera club that's "public" if you pay about $30 in annual dues. I could tell Ilford about that but I have no idea who "they" would be in that organization.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you'll be
a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

I'm sure that's to guarantee the integrity of the database.

Otherwise any jerk with a computer could provide misleading or intentionally false information.

Why would they do that? For the same reason they do it on every other venue on the internet.
Because they're retarded jerk-offs who have no life and no prospect of getting one.

I assume from the response I got that the actual darkroom operators will self submit on the Ilford site when it is ready.

    Seems logical to me.

Its already been done. There is a thread on apug listing public darkrooms, though it is probably out of date.
