Beautiful girl, I think the age should have been compensated for. It's really under exposed, the second one especially, the first is ok, but wish it had one or two stops brighter, I have to squint and get close to the screen to get the full effect.

But the first one is nice in framing and position of the girl. She'll be trouble in just one or two more years probably... (Guessing 14?).

Underexposed: delta 400 rated at 200, developer in HC B 14' ... Seems to me that is ageing worst that the girl.
Her actually is only 11 y.o.
    Thanks for all the comments.

Wow, weird, I've exposed 400 speed film from the 1960's and not had it be so under exposed, good to know that delta doesn't age well... But love that first shot

Without seeing the negs I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about the keeping properties of Delta 400. Lovely portraits though, I particularly like her expression in the second one.

yes, sure, this delta 400 was fogged, I've purcased second hand, probably was not stored in the firidge, the develop was full N+1 , but the contrast is to weack.

I'll try to light a bit the scan with photoshop, now it is a little brighter, hope this helps.

Are these scans or prints? Perhaps of they are scans you can do some post work to get them heavier and then lighten in PS if needed that way they won't be bright and faint. Anyway still nice shots even after all my comments.

    Randy,

He said she will "be trouble" not "in trouble". A completely different meaning.
