I just opened a 9' roll of background paper I bought 10 years ago, or I would take it back. The box was dented, the inner box had a crease and the roll has a crease at 5-1/2'.
It so happens I do want a shorter roll for another setup. A 5' roll would be fine.
The roll is still tightly wound and glued completed closed.
Has anyone sawed one up and had it be OK?
I am thinking fine tooth hacksaw, or a small hobby saw with very fine teeth. Wrap it with masking tape and hack away...
Seams to me it will work?
