I built this contraption from a golf 'cart'


I wanted some way to carry my camera, tripod, holders, lighting, and everything else around to the various spots in a parade staging area..or similar type situations

since the whole concept was a 'point and shoot' - I had prefocused the camera to a certain distance.. and then used the fuscia colored cord to measure that distance with each subject, making the process faster and easier for the subjects and thus making it more likely for them to agree to be photographed

note: a wheel mount broke near the very end of the event... but I think I can fix that for next time

That's quite a contraption. The string is a good idea for doing impromptu "still" portraits.

Brilliant. I've been toying with the idea of a hand-cart with a milk crate, and longer items bungee'd to the handles, but you're a few steps ahead with that one.

Looks sturdy, very mobile, and only takes up about as much space as a standing person.

But yours looks like it can handle a realistic weight load - they're saying the Feisol cart has a maximum load of 8kg? I'm sorry, but 8kg I can carry in my over-the-shoulder bag all day long and not blink.
On the other hand, your cart doesn't come with the svelte model.

I love the golf cart mod. The next time I see one in a garage sale I'll have to think seriously about modifying one to haul gear. The little Costco folding hand truck I have is useful but not perfect.

A agree the Feisol's 8kg weight limit makes it kind of useless.

I originally was looking for a jogging stroller..but then out in the apt dumpster...

so I took my hacksaw to it.. and after about 27 trips to the hardware store - voila

it breaks down pretty good when disassembled - the cart folds up pretty good and the milk crate is the kind that folds flat

takes about 15 minutes to set up at first though
