    Japanese American Photography/Los Angeles

For those in the area, this is worth a look. My friend Dennis Reed wrote to remind me of his lecture on the subject, July 13, 2013 at the LA Central Library. He suggests parking @ the garage at 524 Flower Street. Dennis has an outstanding collection of this work and many interesting stories behind the acquisition. Some of the work that I have seen, was decades ahead of its time. Hope someone here can attend and report back.

Dave, I think it will be, and hope you can attend. Dennis is a real expert on this subject, with a wonderful collection to share. Please say hello to him for me if you happen to go.

Just a reminder, the event is this coming Saturday (July 13). This is a very important period of photography in the United States, overlooked and almost forgotten.
