    First Trannies with G Claron

This is more announcement/rambling than question. I got back my first transparencies that I shot with my new (to me) 150mm f/9 G Claron. My guess at real aperture was fairly close. I mounted the lens in a press shutter from a 105mm lens. I am finding the ground glass to be very dark. I may have to invest in a darkcloth. I am currently using a black t-shirt. The fact that the pictures were taken at dusk didn't help any. There is one shot that I might have printed but this was mostly a learning experience.

I put aside my Zone VI darkcloth in favor of two black t-shirts, one inside the other. Together they are as dark as the dark cloth and they completely surround my 8x10 - something the dark cloth didn't quite do.

For 4x5 & 5x7, I get buy with just one single grey t-shirt. But then I only shoot in broad daylight.
