    who is the moderator now?

Hey - just asking because I made a 'purchase' from a long standing member here recently and after having sent money to them and waiting a week I tried e-mailing them and now find myself getting messages saying they 'aren't accepting e-mails' any longer. So I'm thinking a moderator could help with this (?)

    thanks for any help.

If you notice the statement in big bold red font on the FS forum, it is "use at your own risk", so we don't usually burden the moderators with problems. We're expected to work any issues directly with the parties involved. Suggest you try sending him/her a private message (PM) as a next step. The mail box could simply be full.

yes - I'm not asking for 'abritration' - i'm just asking for a suggestion on what to do in terms of getting a message to the member...

It's not the moderators job to contact other members for you.

of course. But I thought they would be able to help more than others... or what do you suggest otherwise? any good threads on this kind of thing - not that it will come to that... hopefully..

To contact the moderators, just click on the link at the lower right of any page. It says "Contact Us".

There are 5 moderators at this time: 6 including the owner of the forum.

    hey jw

why don't you go to paypal ( if you paid with paypal )
    and get a refund ...
i won't buy anything from anyone anymore off of paypal
for this exact reason ... no paypal, no recourse ...

    good luck !

if you sent money, do you have a name and location that would enable you to find a phone number? Was it a lot of money? Did the person have a lot of posts here or just been registered here a long time? The answers will help inform how worried you should be. If it was a lot of money, they have few posts and you have no address or location...I'd not wait too long.
