Congratulations! The AIR program at the National parks is a wonderful oppertunity. I was selected as an AIR for Rocky Mountain Nat Pk in 2011. Had a great time. The accomodation there is a wonderful 19th century cabin owned by William Allen White (worth looking up).

The park staff were cordial and helpful. There must be thirty parks that offer some sort of AIR oppertunity, each one is different. Grand Canyon offers oppertunities at both the South Rim and the North rim.

Shopping for more. Several I would love to take, including ones not in the Southwest.

Grand Canyon picked two years worth of artists. Being offered slots in 2015 now. That might be the ticket!
