Contoller for Melles Griot electronic shutters includes schematic, explanation, uses ST 6215 microprocessor (SGS starter kit).
PIC - Atmel, or other microcontrollers OK also.

I'm planning to run my ILEX No. 3 Synchro Electronic with just a 50 volt dc
power supply and a momentary contact switch as if it were a squeeze bulb
Packard type shutter. The power supply described in this article is quite
nice, and elegant. However, I like the manual function of a little manual
switch.
