    Getting Started

Hi folks. Just signed on to the forum. What got me started was a chance purchase of some 4X5 filmholders. Then I had to have a camera, right? And thus it went on from there. Haven't even bought film yet, just using paper negatives.

The thing that has me pumped is that TravelWide ultra light 4X5, I'm in for the 90 and of course I'm now on the search for a lens. At least I have until December to find one.

Sure glad to see a segment of film photography thriving and hope to both learn and contribute to the discussion.

What makes you think you can't do LF with only film holders? Of course film helps. All the rest is a distraction giving people on forums something to do with their spare time and less spare opinions.

    Welcome.
