Haven't checked in here in a while, glad I'm not too far behind this milestone. Great to hear you are getting into WPC Do you ever intend on taking it outdoors?
They're looking great and very clean pouring and development. Cant wait to see more from you. Test strips might save you a lot of trouble trying to hone in correct exposure in future.
Great to hear from you Alex! I couldn't help but follow suit of your endeavors thanks for the compliments. With flash, I can rely on predictable exposure, but for daylight I may experiment a bit more with test strips, although currently I just do a test plate and then work from there; seems to be good enough for the moment.
I would very much like to take it outdoors, but it won't be feasible in the foreseeable future (I don't own a car), so I'm going to stick with still life and portraiture for now.
Will be lots of fun with your abstract and erotic intimate couples portraiture with shadow play etc. Keep up the fantastic work and going down that rabbit hole.
"There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon"
You bet! No couples as of yet (or planned, for that matter), but I've already taken it into the direction of nudes. No, they're not porn and they're not intended as such, but I feel they don't fit with the interests and ethics of the user base of LFPF, so they're online elsewhere.
Ah, that quote has rarely been more appropriate in my life"There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon"
I'd love to see them if you're willing or allowed to share them privately.
koraks I tried replying to your PM but it says your mailbox is full and you need to delete some messages
I mean to post this in the wet plate thread yesterday.
