Thank you, Kerik. I am honestly proud of #3. Feels like four years in the making.

Ed, this Voigtlander gives you such incredible separation between the sharp focus and the rest of the field. Very impressive.
    Wow, fantastic images as always.

Gotta love the Voigtlanders. The separation I get from my Portrait Euryscope is nice but is different. The #8 has a sweet coverage and tone in these plates. Nice going Ed.

How do you display your plate? Here's mine!

    1. I mounted the plate on the 5 inches hardwood floor .
    2. Cut the wood to the size that you want according to your plate size .
    3. I raise the plate haft in from the wood board to give the viewers some dimension.

Hope you like the idea !

Thank you, I'm glad you both liked it. I like the concept because there is so much pattern , design and color to choose from the wood floor as they are already a finished product . They are fairly easy to work with. Other alternative is the laminate floor or engineer wood floor will work too. The warm feeling of the wood balanced it out real well IMO.

Tri, it looks great. Fantastic picture and nicely matched frame. The wood flooring idea is great because it's easy to make a frame in just about any size and shape that you would want. The cost shouldn't be bad at all, plus there are so many finish options. Very neat idea with a lot of potential.

Looks excellent Tri. I've been thinking of something similar for mounting ambrotypes. I like the idea of raising the plate away from the board.
