If the someone's name is C.(arl) Koch, you have a special anniversary model. Carl Koch was the designer/founder of Sinar.

    Sinar P Question

To celebrate Sinar's 30th anniversary, Sinar manufactured 300 special edition P cameras. Yours is the 128th out of 300. Carl Koch's signature was engraved on the camera.

The interesting thing is, in year 2000 upon the 30th birthday of Sinar P camera, Sinar also made 33 millenium special edition P2 cameras, which also shows the shrinking market of large format cameras. I am very lucky to own one of them, the 33/33, a very very special one.
