Yes it looks really nice and sturdy and looks like a really good focusing loupe, and when you try to use it it seems to be quite OK....

Yes, the Crown is a groovy camera. I even did some handheld shots with it. However unfortunately I lost the strap lately. I'll have to think about how to replace it.
