there is a major difference between the two models:
the classic is able to take lenses down to 72 mm without an additional wide angle device. and the widest lens with the device is 58 mm f i am not...

i can't really recommend one camera over the other, i myself use a technika V which is a perfect camera for my purpose portrait and landscape.
as someone said before, the lens will be the deciding...

jiri is right, for the 3x4 filmpack you need another holder. it would be the polaroid 405.
i have no idea whether fuji has an equivalent. but i would suppose so.

you might check the prices for either polaroid or fuji holders and decide.

to me 35 mm and 4x5 as the smallest large format are light years away from each other.

i believe it is meant to be like that. mine are different as well. i have not used it so far, since i had the 4x5 545 before.

just send bob salomon at hp marketing or marflex an email and i am sure they will respond in telling you how to purchase at what cost.

best is to have a look at cameraquest.com or get hold of the linhof book of cameras.
what specs do you actually need? the V is close to the master except for the angle of tilt on the lens standard...

depending on what the individual considers to be a portrait/ head and shoulders/head and torso/up to half length thighs ...i have experienced good results from 150mm right up to 300mm for 4x5. ...
