If you take Highway 68 south from Lexington about 20-30 minutes, you get to a former Shaker village that has great places to photograph, you also have to cross the Kentucky River which provides other...
Excuse my ignorance, but where do I find the license key?
How do you install a second license from a download rather than a CD version?
Under the past model, Adobe had to make upgrades because each generation of software would bring in a lot of money at its release, then it would taper off as the market became saturated. A new...
That's my bigger concern. What if they don't have major updates for three years? I would end up paying $30x36, so $1080, assuming no price increases during that time. I paid only $180 or so for...
I see this like buying a book. I own a copy that I can pick up and read anytime I want, but now I will have to send a check to the author every month if I decide to read it.
I qualify for the academic discount, but that doesn't mean I want to rent software or can afford it.
In the US it is when the image is created.
Anaital, if you could send me a copy, I can reformat it to match current Kodak documents and upload it here for everyone. My email is: info at gregorytdavis dot com
That rule has been in effect for years. One of Churchill Down's revenue streams is from the sale of photographs of the Derby. They do not want competition.
You would be better off hand tinting or copper toning to get the color after the fact.
Harrison and Harrison.
The complaints are sounding more and more like those about Light Impressions.
In the documentary about her called "What Remains" she uses a Toyo M II 8x10, a Phillips 8x10, and the one in the above post for her wet plate field work. She also uses a large 8x10 studio camera on...
People learn in different ways.
That is very similar to reverse sepia toning in which the print is put through the toner first, then bleached, then retoned. I find the color on Ilford MG IV to be more of a cool chocolate brown...
Same here, hence my question.
Do they not manufacture an 8x10 color negative film anymore? Or is that simply not included in the repackaging notice?
I get non powdered nitrile gloves from a cheap hardware store called Harbor Freight. They may have on near you. Make sure your hands are dry when trying to put them on or the moisture will make it...
It could be as simple as not knowing how much work would be involved in running a business or not expecting as many orders as he got. I remember his original posts about it. I think the dream of...
Here are the notches for Tmax 100 and 400 films taken from the tech sheets. The 100 film has two V notches, the 400 only has one.
Tmax 400 uses a single V notch like that.
The hypo clear should be mixed to a one gallon concentrate that is then diluted 1 part concentrate to 4 parts water just before use. So you only need a one gallon bottle.
If the back isn't laying flat, the. You are correct, it is warped. Is there a gap between the back and the rear standard when attached? The back is cast aluminum, so I have no idea if that can warp...
How far off is it? I assume you are talking about mere thousandths of an inch.
Is there anything stuck to the bottom side of the GG frame that might be preventing it from sitting tight against the camera back? Are the springs still tight? These cameras were pretty well...
I don't understand what you mean by frame liner. Can you post a picture of what you want to achieve?
My DeVere 5108 dichro head had 4 bulbs, 300 watts each. It is far too bright and I need to use a 3 stop ND filter to use an aperture of f/11 and a printing time around 6 seconds for an 11x14 print.
I have contacted this site before about their machines. They may be the manufacturer or just a service company, but they claim to have parts for all Rollma products. ...
I agree, Duratrans. If you aren't familiar with that product, it is essentially printing paper that is translucent rather than opaque to allow for back lighting. So in essence, he did not shoot...
What I am saying is that I contacted one of the jurors, and they had no idea the Spider Awards existed. Just because their own website says Magnum supports them doesn't mean Magnum actually does.
This is an old thread, but I thought it worth mentioning since some of you may be considering submitting to contests. I saw one of the current jurors was the Senior Editor of National Geographic...
What seems even stranger is that the names of participants are changed. Since it appears to be a V-Bullitem type site, did they create dozens of fake people and then paste the text? It all seems to...
It is under the tab of Archival Storage and Presentation.
Then they haven't bought from them in awhile. They are not the same company they were a few years ago.
It was a joke. I dislike beige.
Beige is a bad choice no matter what the function of the room is.
And DPL is on sale. The pro version has been reduced from $1500 to $900.
No, most likely It would be absorbed and appear as black under the safe lights.
