Re: Graflex "Bag Mag" vs. Grafmatics

It seems that most Grafmatics are made for the more modern design. The older ones for the "graphic" back are wider than "graflok" versions. If the one you have is too wide, drop me a note and maybe...

    Graflex "Bag Mag" vs. Grafmatics

Is there are strong consensus on which of these to get? I recently picked up a Super D and need some holders that fit the slot, or one of the Graflex magazines.

I was also wondering if there are...

    Re: Butane for developer preservation

You could probably use mineral oil as a float, but it would invite problems.

I like the idea of using marbles to fill up the void space. Very clean.

I am a fan of the Pentax 5.5x lupe for looking at negatives. It's too big for practical ground glass use.

I have a few books. Some of the Schirmer/Mosel editions are well printed, but I haven't seen one printed like you hope. Maybe an exhibition catalog has been done to that level.

    Really Expired Film

I recently bought an old 5x7 which came with a few boxes of early 1960s era Tri-X. I have no plans to use it. It certainly was not frozen or carefully stored.
