  1. Re: A Conversation with RICHARD RITTER: Ultra Large Format Camera Maker | Finding Eas

My first year in Minnesota, back in the 70s, I was told this is not a normal winter. OK, I had no basis to disagree. 2nd year, same thing, this is not a normal winter. 3rd year, you get the idea....

Re: Super Chromega Dichroic II D - Bulb Not Working

I don't remember seeing one in the Chromega Dichroic (though not II) head. There's no mention of the fuse in the manual for that head. But, IIRC correctly, the light and fan are powered separately...

  5. Re: Now e-Bay wants my SSN and bank account info . . .???

Seems to be often the case. Old reg was too lax, new reg was too restrictive. Perhaps they'll settle into something more reasonable.

Re: eliminate duplicates from hard drives

But you then move the dupes to the new drive. And then, when that drive is replaced, to a new drive. So ad infinitum.

Though I'd be careful about how dupes are detected. File name? File name...

Re: New Tax Laws eBay PayPal & more

One thing to keep in mind is that selling on ebay has become a business for a lot of people. They buy things in order to sell them. Just like a retailer does. And of course there's all the...
  14. Re: Designing a studio space for natural light portraiture

I too like the intimacy of a smaller print. Exception would be one intended for exhibition where there's a largish audience - but I don't do those.

Re: Film on a Plane: Check It or Carry-On?

  25. Re: Now e-Bay wants my SSN and bank account info . . .???

But a private business can deny service if they want your SSN and you don't give it. Something that should be remedied.
  26. Re: Now e-Bay wants my SSN and bank account info . . .???

No, it's not illegal. I think it's wise not to comply except where necessary, but a private business can legally request it.

No, under that scenario you (as seller) are OK. You would have to ship more than 2 days AFTER being notified of the reversal.
