The first time I seen this style was on Vincent Laforet website, very cool. I'm going to have to try this with my LF camera since I don't have a tilt-shift lens for my D3.

I have this same lens and the rear cap I have says Rodenstock and is a 40.5 and fits perfect, but I can't help you on the front because the one I'm using says 40.5 also and it is spread out to fit,...
Very cool!!!!
That is wild that the boat is on the roof!
Thanks for the update.
Great! Do you have any more info like dates? I trying to plan my calendar.
Thanks Mark.
It did look like a great conference. I'm on the lookout for some more. Right now I attend three portrait photography conferences a year because I'm on the board and help put these on,...
I'm finding that out.
Nobody want's to touch this thread with a ten foot pole:)
Wow. Why don't they make it anymore? You know I think I threw some of that away last month when I was cleaning. Bummer.
I've read some and was hoping for it again since it was only a couple hours from me.
Just was wondering if was something that happened every year. But sounds like it isn't:(
I have tried to find out what this is about, but info is really all over the place.
Is this a conference that happens every year in Colorado? Does it change to Foto 4 for 2009? I can't find any...
True, the only film I would be interested in would be the peel apart type.
I guess the LF community is a small world:)
Thanks for the info. I look forward to getting my first issue.
This has me worried. I just subscribe in Dec. and haven't heard a word from them.
So true. If LF photography isn't passed on, film will be no longer made.
Then life as we know it will end:eek:
Welcome. Your images look cool, I like them. I'm only a couple hours from you and got back into LF & photograph 4x5 & 8x10 for fun.
I seen that and wondered what was so special about it. How is modified?
I feel it is also going to get a little rougher. I held on and I'm now the only photographer that as a downtown location, when back in the film days there was three of us and no part-timers to speak...
I have always worried about that & PayPal, and never fully trusted them.
Love it. Thanks for the laugh!
Actually the market in the US is the woman that are starting their own photography businesses. Men are the minority and a brick & mortar business are no longer the norm. Just about everybody that as...
Well I'm sure it is a investment, just like my car collection. Someday I will sell them off and retire. I like to enjoy my retirement savings driving them instead watching my money go away in the...
I'll take some of the long lenses in the back off your hands:)
I shoot everything in Raw and use Capture One for processing. After that I pick a few images and spice them up a bit Photoshop.
One of the reason I think I shoot more is for the flush mount...
My prices were where they should of be for a professional with years of experience, but with digital everybody just wants the files and no finished product thinking they can do better them self. When...
Oh yes, that time was figured into my pricing. I just found out as the older I'm getting, spending time with my family on saturdays is more important to me.
Also the portrait & wedding photography...
Just a little history about me if anybody is interested. I've been a professional potrait photographer since 1995 in western Nebraska. I started with film of course in those days with a Mamiya M645...
I just got a 8x10 Deardorff Camera that had a 4x5 back with it. The springs on the back that hold the film holder are not tight and seem to lost their tension. Is there any where to get this repaired...
So true Ken. I just bought a 8x10 Deardorff with a 8x10 back & 4x5 with 4 lenses, 24 4x5 holders and a ton of un-opened film for around $900 from a funiture photographer that went digital a couple of...
Thanks for the info. I will have to go check my CPA to see which one I have.
Thanks, I knew there had to be some close.
I'm searching for any workshops close to me in LF and Darkroom, does anybody know of any? I am in western Nebraska and Colorado & Wyoming is just a stone throw from me.
That's looks better.
I think it is cool. Would be better if it was hort. and the sky was the same on both sides.
Tell everybody you did it on purpose:)
I have the Photoflex one and one thing I do not like is that it doesn't lay flat when in use. Everything doesn't stay in the spot you put it in and I have used it for loading film holders and Jobo...
Welcome. This is a great place learn and share.
Alan, I was about to ask the same question. I don't get it either.
Please enlighten us.
This comes at the perfect time. I just bought a old Burke & James camera from another photographer that has a Packard Shutter.
B&H and Freestyle show it available on their websites.
