Looks like light source fall off. Try scanning in two strips, centering each one on the light source and then stitching together.

Tip: try to have one tripod leg going forward. It's very easy to bump one if it's situated between your feet.

Daniel, I wish I had on of those and an 8x10 Sinar back.... I use a Sinar 4x5 back on that camera, as that allows the bino viewer.

It's great that these can be repaired! An alternative for those who don't have one of those: an inexpensive sous vide heater and a container.

Pliobond is a traditional choice.

I bought a rifle recently. The owners manual warned of storing it long term in a gun case. My guess is because foam and similar will likely leach nasty fumes.

I'm getting closer to getting my Century No. 7 ready to take 5x7 and 8x10 portraits. This will be done in my living room, and not a dark studio. As such, it's be nice to keep extraneous light off...

Sinar lines will easily wash off...don't ask how I know....
