    Re: Chamonix tips and tricks?

Use it a lot. Get used to it.

I've been using a Chamonix 45 N-1 since the early days of the brand and it's been a wonderful tool over the years. I wouldn't change anything about it.

    Buy the...
  5. Re: Waterfalls in Oregon Or How Many Holder to Take On a Day Hike

Remember, what goes down must come up. If you are hiking to Silver Falls, take as many holders as you are comfortable carrying out of the gorge! The hike wasn’t bad, but depends on what you are used...

    Re: Tioga Pass Open!

I was up there on Thursday and Friday... Ellery Lake and a couple of ponds just west of the East gate had some nice ice formations. It was cool to see Tenaya flowing over it's banks like that.

    Re: 4 x 5 focus problem

    Using a Cable release?

F32 should compensate for any minor film plane issues.

Is it possible it's a scanning issue? You didn't say if you looked at the negatives with a good loupe.

    Can...

The back that came with my camera... (aftermarket) doesn't have any metal corners and fits just fine. Here is are some detail shots of my sliding back where the back meets.

The adapter frame is an intriguing idea...
