  1. Re: replacement pad for Seal masterpiece 500 Dry Mount Press?

I picked up a 500 press a while back, it came with a felt pad. I think it may have been original. Sadly the press had been more missed used rather than used. It shows little signs of use but looks...

  6. Re: enlarger and timer will not synchronize

I sent you a PM. The problem is likely the older opto isolators that are based on neon lamps. There is mention that these same things are used in music equipment . I'd bet New Orleans has a few...
  7. Re: enlarger and timer will not syncrhonize

It is a known problem on older S heads. Sadly I don't know of an easy fix. The bad parts are no longer made. If you have some electronic repair skills there may be solutions.
  8. Re: Beseler 4x5MXII adapter to Ilford 500H

Green corrosion is never good, hope you've clean it up. It can actually wick up the wiring in cables as well. Sounds like you have the 500C controller. I don't have much info on those. Just the...
  9. Re: Beseler 4x5MXII adapter to Ilford 500H

What the controller doing? I've fixed a couple power supplies, which provide the DC power for the controller. The electrolytic caps are getting old, one had a bad bridge rectifier as well. It's hard...

Do I understand you correctly, you are planning on a sink 3ft x 9 ft with 12 inches of water sitting it? That's a lot of water and a lot weight to support.
