Re: exposure issues using a DSLR as a lightmeter

Also, if you're using longer focal lengths make sure you calculate for bellows extension.

I think your water is too alkaline, make sure you're using distilled water to mix with your chemistry and do the first and second rinse if your tap water is too basic.

As mentioned above, get the Enfuse plugin for Lightroom. It is the only high-dynamic-range software of any kind that gives natural looking results in my experience.

Re: Is "instant" 4x5 film still available?

My local lab charges $10 a sheet for B&W 4x5. They do not develop colour, they are the only lab within 2000km that does 4x5.
So I dev my own :p

Newbie question, one sheet in Jobo CPE2+?

    Hi guys,

It will also be my absolute first time using the Jobo CPE2+... and I have a question.

Re: Velvia 50 and 100 Reciprocity Correction

Kodak Ektar 100 fits a very nice curve, from the only available test for reciprocity I was able to find. This is unfiltered of course.

Here is an approximation for unfiltered non-colour-corrected velvia.

    It's not as neat because...

Re: Velvia 50 and 100 Reciprocity Correction

Provia 100F is a very stable film, so testing is a little tricky. From all the measured data I've been able to find, the best fit for it's reciprocity characteristics is as follows:

Re: Velvia 50 and 100 Reciprocity Correction

An almost perfect fit for the reciprocity failure of Ilford black & white films (they provide the same graph for every film) is the equation:
