Much more, to be sure, but you answered my query. Thanks and I very much enjoyed seeing your image.

No critique but a question, if you don't mind? How did you meter this?
Thanks, Kenny
Yep, I have a few. Somewhere. All good exposures, very nice, indeed.
Another of my old soldiers, a Crown Graphic added after the Graphic View. I can't help thinking of The Shawshank Redemption everytime I look at this one....
Wonderful exposures and developing, Deardorffuser! Very inspiring if only I had such subjects within reach.

I actually prefer the aesthetics of the red bellows but, as I recall, this one was too attractively priced. :)
This particular one or GraphicView in general? Just supply and demand attrition, in my opinion. The one I have was made for the military, according to my research. If I do my job, it will still...
Haven't shot anything in forever, it seems. Here is the first 4X5 I ever purchased, captured on Ilford Delta 100 Pro w/Chamonix F-1 field camera....
Drew, I think you're SOL in Houston. To my knowledge, Precision Camera in Austin does LF. They send it out but they get it done. At least, they did.
That is a very impressive tree!! And, a wonderful shot of it.

Very nice, Pali K. Lovely exposure.
No, the Chisos. They are all within Big Bend Natl Park.
As I understand it, they are the only mountain 'range' to be completely contained within a national park boundary. An old caldera, I believe.
Steven, the Superstitions remind me a lot of the Chisos Mtns in BBNP. Wonderful image.
Pima just went on my bucket list! :)
Thank you. I think I would've had the same reaction.
Static shot of a Beechcraft Kansan at Lonestar Flight Museum, Ellington Field, Houston TX. Please ignore the stanchions and chains, just the way they do it here. Chamonix 45F1, expired Kodak...
Love the tonality in both of these, Bill.
Actually prefer this side, it's much less crowded than the Basin usually is.
A late afternoon shot of The Window in Big Bend Natl Park from the backside, Ross Maxwell Drive. Chamonix 045-F1, Ektar 100.

^^ this. I've found a silver magic marker leaves a very easily observable indicator of how far to pull. It's gotten to be a habit, what can I say?
Yes, it arrived yesterday. The only snag--and it's somewhat my fault--is that I didn't get the large lensboard with adapter to accept smaller Technika boards. My original order was for a small board...
Well, color me happy! Just got word that my 8X10 has shipped. Thank you Max and company, I am stoked!!
Good on ya, Michael!! I ordered 8/8/2018. No news yet.
Now, THAT is quite something!
Hello fellow Louisianian(I'm originally from Lecompte, just south of Alexandria). Well, I'm waiting but probably not as anxiously as some. For my part, I'm gonna give them some time. Hard to do...
If you've managed to successfully attach a tripod to a f.64 bpx pack, can you tell/show how you've done it? I haven't actually started yet--still waiting on the Intrepid 8X10--other than practice...
This thread is now three pages in length; I'm hoping one--or more--of the Intrepid principals might jump in with something to say. Other than 'soon'. :)
Well, rats!! I ordered August 8 so I guess I should probably try to think about something else. :(
I'm waiting for the Intrepid 8X10 now. In all honesty, I'd have to say it's completely your fault, given that you provided an address that was 'not 100% correct'. What did you expect them to do? ...
Bryan, these remind me of a courthouse in Shelby County in east Texas and, that I need to get back over there to shoot it. :)
Kenny
Lovely shot, Bryan.
No hill for a stepper, right? :)
Wonderful job with the Ektachrome! I've managed to acquire a couple 50 sheet boxes of (S)aturated Ektachrome that I'm saving for an early spring trip out the Big Bend Natl Park.
Love that shot, Bryan! Very pleasing composition and exposure.

I'm no kind of artist but I can certainly relate to some of his feelings. I only hope I can get 'in the zone' when I get out to Big Bend tomorrow and Friday. Since I have only the two days--until...
