    Re: post your trees!

I found this lovely Krishna Butter Cup tree at Lalbagh. Heres my first take. I'll make a trip again some day to shoot again.

Re: Contrast issues with Paterson Orbital?

It works reasonably well. So I thought, until I found until someone told me that I could be losing subtle contrast variations.

I use HC110 - which I believe is also somewhat sensitive to constant...

Re: Contrast issues with Paterson Orbital?

Thanks. Is it a good idea to do 85% time in case constant agitation is done?

I've heard that continuous agitation causes faster development.

Re: Contrast issues with Paterson Orbital?

Thanks for the comments so far. I use HC110 in dilution B with 99 ml.

From the comments so far I gather that you'd get slightly diff highlights. Either you like it or not - provided you pour...

    Contrast issues with Paterson Orbital?

I process my sheet film on a Paterson Orbital tank - how_orbital

Someone made a statement which I've reproduced here:

"With film in this processor you cannot get away with the 50 to 150ml of...

    Re: post your trees!

Really nice Joel. I loved the way the tree with all it's roots separated well from it's background. How did you go about this image? (location/developer/processing..)

    Thanks

Help, is my developer the problem?

    Hi,

I've been shooting 4x5 film for roughly a year so far. My processing has been on a DD-X on FP4+ sheet film (125 ISO).

Trouble is that I've increasingly felt that my pictures are lifeless,...

Re: Any ideas what caused this?

I don't have much experience with this sort of thing. But the last time my pictures were ruined like this I noted that the emulsion side was down and it was nearly stuck to the bottom of the tray.
