hi everybody,
i intend to shoot city life/ city lights in the magic hour and at night-can anyone recommend a slidefilm for that purpose?
don't wanna scan afterwards- wanna keep the slides and put...
i think it's a finder for the Super Rollex 56 x 72.......which is a 6x7cm camera. so one has to multiply with the factor 1.7 or rather devide 180mm by 1.7 to get the corresponding lens on a 6x7cm...
so here is a picture of the finder...
anyone know this one? can i use it for my 180mm 4x5?
and it's missing the bottom section to slide into the adaptor on the camera. guess that's also the part where you would normally find the focal length and with that a good incicator for what format...
it reads "linhof unversalsucher technika schneider-kreuznach"" on the finder itself(ingraved) and on the "frontlense" just above the formatmarking (not the mask itself in the finder) it says "56x72"....
But the original problem is that the OP have found a (probably Linhof) viewfinder designed for 5x7 and while the aspect ratio will not match perfectly, I recon that if he sets it on 240mm, it will...
erm,just to make sure:

cheers,
m
hi everybody,
i was wondering what a 180mm on a 4x5 format corresponds to on 5x7 format. what is the factor?

you guys started me thinking...
i've asked my lab and they dont sell 4x10 and arent sure if they can develop it. probably yes.and will charge something between 4x5 and 8x10...so it seems like it's...
wayne, i just joined this forum so i don't have access to the sales thread yet. in 30days only...any other link to check out your Speed Graphic? it's not what i'm looking for but nevertheless i'm...
does anyone know the close focus for the fuji 125/5.6 CMW ?
cheers,

i'm looking for a 4x10 that is easy to handle, light, "quick" to focus and doesn't force me to use a tripod for every shot. and i only want 4x10 not modified 8x10 since the camera would become to...
hi there,
i was wondering if there is a company besides fotoman that does 4x10 ("handheld") cameras? any suggestions?
cheers,
