Ah, but's it's good to confirm to myself that the $25 I gave them last year was truly deductable!
The following is from http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Deductibility_of_donations
"Donations are tax-deductible in the U.S.

For those that haven't been here, there's a big drop-off right behind the camera position. It makes it...
That probably included processing too, so it's not that bad!
The Castle at Capitol Reef is Wingate Sandstone - about 200 million years old.

Interestingly, heylloyd lists "plain hypo fix" as using 160g anhydrous sodium thiosulfate into 1 liter (along with 30-60 g sodium sulfite).
http://www.heylloyd.com/technicl/plain.htm
150 grams of anhydrous sodium thiosulfate would give a 15% w/v solution when dissolved into 1 L of water.
I've never heard of two-bath fixing ever ruining film. In fact, I've been using it for...
I wish I could be there. I've always enjoyed your photos.
Ha! Jay - that was most certainly was the other Kirk, and not myself. Although, if it had been me, I'm sure you would probably have been horified just as much, if not more!
As Joanna shows above, you've got a lot of exposure range with Acros to play with. Especially if you're used to shooting transparancies!
Jump in and get some Acros - it's a great film.
It's linear for a long way out past a normal exposure range.
Tell me how you determine DR and I'll see if I can get you a number from my tests with it.
Cool - I love antimatter!

I think there's a little 'bullet' that threads onto the end ot the cable release that allows the cable release to be captured by the plastic end of the do-hickie. Is that what you are looking for? It...
Well, chemistry tells us that an afterbath can ONLY add an overall stain. There must be exposed, undeveloped silver halide to make stain proportional to the exposure, through the action of developing...
If I understand you correctly, you say you are not bleaching the silver out of your negs for your stain-only negs. Would you care to share with us exactly what you are doing - some of use would...
This has been my observation using used developer.
Any staining in a used developer should be non-selective as there is no development occurring at that point, as all the undeveloped silver halide...
Drew - what do you use for the afterbath - the spent developer or some other solution?

There should be no difference in the life of a solution prepared with sodium vs. potassium for carbonates. The thing that will limit the life of this solution is the sulfite. The sulfite will oxidize...
I've used some that's at least 40 years old, and it performs identically to some that I fresh pyrogallol that I bought recently.
As long as it's not getting dark brown, it should work fine. (My...
I'll second everything Jan says about Denise and her work.
I've seen silver gelatin paper that Denise has hand-made and it looks every bit as good as commmercially available papers. She knows...
I bought one of these portfolios and every print is wonderful! The prints are gorgeous, and they come nicely boxed. Really top notch work.

Jan - I found a manual with a google search of "gretag d200" about 5 items down on a Russian site.
Gretag also seems to have parts listed on their site.

I love it, Andy!
Another source could be from IR's ability to 'see' more deeply into the surface of a subject. Skin is fairly transparent in IR, as you may notice from how blood veins are rendered. So some subject...
That's nice, Joe. I like it.

Jim, the first post is a year old.

Congrats!
I let me subscription slip last year but I'll have to go out and get this one.

I agree.
I guess I need to go and get in line for my rations of Soylent Green...
1ST - gorgeous! I love that magenta pre-sunrise color.
2nd - nice
3rd - getting better
4th - great! The reflection is nicer than the previous 2. The clouds are more interesting as well -...
That's a nice shot!
Great shot! I love the framing of the branch.
Alan Ross uses an electric pencil eraser to abrade the glossy surface of the print. It just takes a second with the eraser to get enough tooth on the print, and then it will accept a pencil.
What are those - radio dishes?
