    burtynksy mainly has been shooting quickloads since 1998. i think given the particular circumstances under which he shoots 8x10 wouldn't really work.

    a friend of a friend made a 35x45 inch print from 8x10 film using the 750...he also paid $125 for a 1gb drum scan from the lab and we couldn't tell the difference.

    Regarding the OP's questions/requirements, 8x10 may yield creamier results at long exposures. 360mm lens is good.
