I find it much more fun to look at a large GG than the smallish 4x5". I do mostly 8x10" and 7x17", but also have 5x7". I would normally not go smaller than 5x7" for the sake of the enjoyment with the...
Dahle 552 or Dahle 442, which one is best for my darkroom? They cut the same lenght but is a bit different.
These Super Bright LED light tables, are they not too bright? Im looking for something like that my elf but unsure if I will find them annoyingly bright. I think there is a sweetpoint of brightness...
OK, Im now looking at Dahle 552 and Dahle 442. They are somhow a bit different, but which one is best for my darkroom? They cut the same lenght.
THANKS A LOT EVERYBODY! This forum has helped me so many times.
Exactly, I investigated the knob further and found that screw myself. Will try tightening.
Does that mean you would use two separate cutters? One for film and one for paper? I need to cut both film and paper :-)
Hi!

Hi!
A little desperate here. Seems that my Arca Swiss F-line rear function carrier focusing knob has a problem. It is loose and wont bring the standard forward or backward. I can practically screw...
You could also consider the Arca Swiss F-line. It is very portable and has all the benefits of a monorail :-)

Interesting you air out the paper and do a second run. Does it make it even flatter this way? I heat and put directly under some heavy books.
I got this lens together with a Durst 138 enlarger. What negative size can it cover and how good is it? I need an enlarger lens for 5x7" negatives :)
Thanks :)

Thanks Kumar for replying!
Hi!
I have a nice Fujinon W 150/f6.3 lens fitted in a small Seiko shutter. The shutter goes into a Copal #0 lensboard, but I have hard time fastening it because there is a small pin on the rim of...
So the lessons learned is, the camera parts like the glass screen, and the lens need time to warm up, and that can take considerable of time...And taking the camera in and out of an air-conditioned...
The camera had already been out of the car for one day before this happened, but was taken out from a cooler building.
I was up in some african mountains with my big 7x17" camera in a hot and humid area (rain was on the way) and experienced that it developed some condensation inside the camera, making the screen...
Is it possible to use the 438 as a head alone? Will the movements be smooth enough for fine adjustments when a heavy camera is on top of it?
Sunway is saying this levelling platform also work well as a large format head...anybody have any experience? Looks quite interesting :-)
DYH-120TRO...
Interesting, didn't know that was possible. Thanks
Hi Drew, I use Lodima/Azo!
I opened a new post for this question, feel it needs its own thread. Please answer there!

Ae the rails and clamps for Arca Swiss SL-23 series (older medium format view camera) compatible A B and F-Line?
Thanks

Thanks for good advises. I will try the cork first. I also wonder maybe a thin sheet of cork between the head and the tripod will make panorating smoother on the Ries tripod?
Im a lucky owner of a Ries Tripod and head, but find it a bit difficult to tighten the camera enough to make the camera not rotating. Can I put someting in between to create more friction?
A great space saving idea!
Will do, but cant wait to see the result :)
