Does any of you have any experience with the GITZO G1372 tripod head with a lightweight (4,3kg/9,5lb) 8x10" camera?
Thanks
Ahahah
Will keep you posted Drew

The 240mm will work for sure and there's not much difference between them expect for lens construction. But I love the tiny 240 with lots of coverage!
Thanks Dan
Which 150 and 210 are you using for 4x10?
My only concern is about coverage
Bests
Got it, was hoping to be able to use the 210mm
Thanks for all the precious info about holders and how to treat film.
My last concern is about lens coverage. I will try to do all the math for that.
Bests!
that's why I was thinking about a reducing back instead of a 4x10" camera. Won't do hiking with these formats and will try to get Chamonix 4x10" holders. That was my idea, but probably there are...
I might be wrong, but if I put a 4x10" back on a 8x10" do I still need to change bellow?
Hello everybody
As I said in some other thread I'm re-putting together my 8x10" setup.
I will also acquire a 4x10" back for the camera, as I always liked shooting panoramas from time to time....
I love my 125mm CM-W, it just replaced a Nikkor W. I wouldn't go wider than that for my photography
Filter thread is a bit too large for such lens, but it doesn't weigh a lot, so it's manageable.
I'm pretty sure I will enjoy. Just purchased the one in mint conditions.
Thanks David
Hi Drew, this is what I meant. Interested in people using gear everyday or so, developing scanning, printing and actually experiencing on the field.
I0m that kind of person. Get bored in front of...
Sal, as some of you has pointed out, the whole trade has gone a bit off the trail. My question was general, but also straightforward. Just wanted to know what experience you all have had with this...
Wow
Thanks for that

Didn't know it covered 14x17"!!!
Love the M design! I do use a lot the 300mm on my 4x5" and wanted something similar on 8x10". Still keeping the 300mm W for this format!
Thanks Karl!
I love working with the 240mm on a 4x5” and quite sure this would be a great choice for 8x10
I reckon it has got the same quality as other Nikkor lenses
Thanks again

i was looking them up and they seem hard to find, but I will try to get one.
I do have the PP version, not the PP S
Thanks Alex
I was just on their website and was searching on ebay for the remote. Not much on there actually. Not sure whether it would be easier to get an aperture scale from Rodenstock or...
didn't know about that. Any advice/link would be appreciated
thanks
Most superb lens I own, razor sharp.
Thanks for replying Bob
I'll ask my repair shop whether they're able to make it or not.
I know they're the best for many reasons, but probably is just because I've got all the other lenses...
Hello there,
I know there might be threads about this, but I could not find any with a proper answer.
I've recently purchased a Rodenstock W 150mm f5.6 mounted on Prontor Professional 1, which...
