Re: Old Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles

I've studied ancient Egypt in some detail over the last 50-60 years, but I missed that.

What make and model were the cars?

    Hi Antonio,

The distance from the rear of the lens to the film is of no significance.
You may find that number on some specifications, but it's meaningless.

Re: Expensive fake lens boards !

    What's a "fake" lensboard?

If it's square (or appropriate shape) and has a hole in it, and fits the camera, it's a lensboard.

  16. Re: Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter Outlet questions

    No.

The GFCI outlet compares the amount of current flowing in the two wires.

If those values differ it decides a fault exists and opens the circuit.

    Re: lensboards with offset holes?

That does not work with a properly designed front standard. Those have bevels on the two lower corners to match the lensboard, preventing alternate installation orientation.

    Re: lensboards with offset holes?

The offset design is a function of the original camera with which it was used.
That optical axis was offset, requiring an offset of the lens mounting hole.

Further stupidity lies in the fact...
