Looks like a Korona or something similar
I've used a 47 mm on a flat board. Just move the front standard to focus. Heck of a lot cheaper than a fancy lens board.
I've had generally great experience with KEH. They are fast and the items are usually under-described. The only thing I bought that I thought was a bit sketchy was a 50mm distagon that was in BGN...
Yes. Hold a sheet of film on top of the GG and you will see they are the same size.
Yes, that is what I meant, the ball on the rotating piece was off center. causing it to not be straight with the rest of the camera in any of the 90 degree notches.
To the OP, it was off center a...
I had the camera with the non square back. I bought it that way. From best I could tell, the ball bearing in the back was slightly misaligned. Not sure how it happened, the camera was very nice...
Try processing it as B&W with Hc-110 to help reduce base fog. You might be surprised at what you can get off of it. Nothing to lose except a little developer and a few minutes.
Don't send it to...
If you still want a Linhof I can sell you a Tech V which is 95% of a master technika. PM me if you are interested.
the toyo is a fine camera though and I almost bought one.

3rd party lens boards sometimes don't fit in the top corners. I had to grind mine with a dremel to make them fit on my technika
It exists and it is still made. It's called FP-100C45. I have 2 boxes in my refrigerator right now.
Hi Al,
I have the latter type of peep sight accessory, which plugs into the front standard and moves with the front standard.
Hmm..thanks for the info. mine only has one frame though, and a peep sight to correct for parallax. I suppose I will try to some comparisons to the GG tonight to see how close it is.
I've come into possession of a Linhof sports finder for a Tech V. I'm a little confused about some nuances of these. What focal lengths are they compatible with? How do they work with a recessed lens...
I tried to respond to your PM but you have PMs turned off. Since I don't really know my schedule and will be traveling with my fiancee, it will be pretty difficult to meet up. I am only there for 2...
Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I will hopefully be able to stop a few places going up and coming back.
I will be heading up to the Redwood national park area of California on 9/3. I've never been and am pretty unfamiliar. I will be staying in the Del Norte state park but don't mind traveling around....
Yeah, the rest of the camera is pretty nice. It has new bellows, everything seems straight and locks down tight, rangefinder is nice, GG is clean and nice. I just recovered it in black so it...
I have a Linhof Tech V that is in pretty amazing condition with one exception: the rotating back is slightly crooked. It is probably off about 1mm. In practice this might not make much difference,...
Will see you there this weekend
I have been watching Tech V prices over the last couple of months. One on eBay in pretty nice shape just sold for $1200. It had a lens that was cammed.
I just paid $1479 for a nice one with grip,...
On further examination it seems like the rangefinder patch is just extremely sensitive to eye placement. If your eye is not centered it will appear a bit out of alignment.
Did Linhof ever...
I just bought a Linhof Tech V. The camera works great except for a couple of things:
1. The rangefinder seems to work OK except the horizontal alignment is not quite right. Is this user adjustable...
Yes, this is what I assumed. Even if I get the GG problem solved, it doesn't fix my rangefinder problem. I bought the camera to use with a 6x9 roll back so the GG is even secondary to that.
I'm...
Yes, they are on Linhof boards.
Does anyone know how to remove the GG on this thing? It looks like the screws are on the backside of the GG with no easy way to get to them. Looks like I need to...
Just checked, yes it does.
Not really sure I can do much more about the infinity stop. It's a notch on the focusing rail and not really configurable. When I slide out the standard, it will notch into the infinity stop.
...
I am using the correct infinity stop. Also tried another lens which is cammed for it with the same issues.
The ground glass is also rounded off strangely. It's not rectangular, looks like someone...
I just bought a very nice condition Technika III package. Came with 3 lenses and original "tri-cam".
I'm having focus problems with both the GG and the Rangefinder. The rangefinder is out of...
It's got a protective grid glass screen and a combo fresnel/gg. There is no ground glass per se. The fresnel is the focusing screen.
This is a used camera. It's installed properly, as it has a...
The Fresnel/GG came installed on the camera. It's got the Wista brand on it so I am fairly certain it is stock.
It looks fine with my 150mm lens. The 90mm shows what looks like horrendous...
How can I tell? All I know is that it looks awful with my 90mm lens.
I have a Wista VX. As is well known, the focusing screen is not that great when it comes to wide angle lenses. What is the recommendation for a replacement that isn't going to cost more than the...
