is there an (easy) way to adapt a durst 1200 so it can print the whole 4x5 negative or at least the whole exposed part of it?

But it looks to be a quick acting portrait lens with specifications
close to a 1B, f3, but with 3 3/4 inches back focus...

I've read nothing in this thread about deburring the glass, if you cut the glass yourself or get one with sharp edges it's good to deburr it with a grinding stone or middle fine good quality grinding...

In a way a pity you are not going to use it, but it is very beautiful.

On the inside of the reducing back is an indentation (17 x 18,5 cm) with small clamping bows around it.
There are also two small screws and some white marks. (see picture)

Aerostigmat is a tessar design, so you would have two similar lenses.

Learn from the wet plate guys,

You will have to make a fitting groundglass.
Or if you want to take out the whole septum, it will be difficult to secure a groundglass.

These are glued directly to the camera. I don't think the material is leatherette, it looks like cloth with a very fine fabric, especially on the corners. Start to believe there is not...

I must say that this discussion made me aware that multitape might not be the best thing for bellows repair but yesterday I taped some corner light leaks on my "new" Gandolfi with the multitape, hold...

Yes Steven you are right. Everything moves away from the back lens. Tried to move the whole diaphragm but did not want to use to much force, I don't know enough for that. So closed he lens today....
