    I carry a Crown Graphic around in a Domke F6. Not quite a satchel, but it works well. There's enough room for a grafmatic or a few holders, and a small lens or two.

    I'm trying to find a source of Amidol (most probably the English stuff) who will ship to Australia.

    Artcraft in the US will not ship it overseas.

    Something to also consider in your budget is lighting for studio fashion work. When you move to LF, you'll need to consider stopping down to f22 for 4x5 and f32-45 for 8x10 to get the necessary DOF....

    I just bought the BP, too (for an 8x10), and I suspect the lash down tabs are the square plastic things on the top front. Probably better to tie it to the side somehow, or carry by hand.

    Yes, 5x7 is excellent for contact prints. 4x5 is not quite up to it for most people.

    What you could do is buy a 5x7 camera which can take a 4x5 back. Some cameras are actually the same for 5x7...
