As mentioned above, get the Enfuse plugin for Lightroom. It is the only high-dynamic-range software of any kind that gives natural looking results in my experience.

Any plans for an android version?
Nooooooo not E100G :(
An old picture, someone let me know if this is better suited to a different thread :)

I have the older version with the amber coatings.

My local lab charges $10 a sheet for B&W 4x5. They do not develop colour, they are the only lab within 2000km that does 4x5.
So I dev my own :p
A loud alarm and willpower... often insufficient!
Maybe the wall is not straight.
WA, that one in particular is a beach called Burns Beach :)
Ebony 45s, Nikkor-SW 75/4.5

I can imagine nothing worse... :( *bro-hug*
Here is a crop from a 2400 dpi scan resampled to 745 dpi :) this is 4x5 and Kodak E100G, using my Nikkor-SW 75/4.5.

Thanks Tim, appreciate your insight. I imagine the torque on 8*10 would be substantially larger as you pointed out.
What's wrong with 8x10 on a light tripod with a ballhead? :p I took this with my 4x5 on a gitzo 1541T (tiny tripod) and a fotoclam ballhead (also tiny). Sorry for the rather boring photo. I am kind...
Nevermind I found my answer in a thread on the 2523 tank :p
For anyone looking around, the instructions with the processing kit should tell you how long to process a single sheet on fresh...
Hi guys,
I'm about to have a crack at developing my own film, for the first time in 11 years!
It will also be my absolute first time using the Jobo CPE2+... and I have a question.
I intend to...
Someone should tag this thread Not Safe For Work! :p

Is this deliberately stereoscopic Jay? If I go cross-eyed and sit far enough back it's quite 3D :)
Fantastic image, expertly executed Craig :)
8 seconds Craig!? Steady model? Daguerrotype 'clamps'?
Here is a shot on Fuji FP-3000B on my Ebony 45S. Nice to actually see something out of my new camera :)
Well scratched (and previously with...
You have to cover the back before making the exposure? My ground glass cover certainly isn't light tight...
For delta 100:
y = 1.953x + 0.1064x^2
Where x is metered exposure and y is corrected exposure.
Old Provia RDP-II has worse reciprocity characteristics and colour shift than Provia 100F. Fuji recommend 1/2 stop at 32s and a full stop at 2min with RDPII... Whereas 100F has essentially no...
Most information seems to specify that Kodak E100G doesn't suffer noticeable reciprocity failure even at 10 minutes so I won't bother plotting that one.
Portra 400 has scarce information but being a...
Kodak Ektar 100 fits a very nice curve, from the only available test for reciprocity I was able to find. This is unfiltered of course.
y = 0.759x + 0.555x^1.3
Here is an approximation for unfiltered non-colour-corrected velvia.
y = -0.9718 + 1.088x^1.1
Sure makes Velvia 50's reciprocity failure not seem as severe as before!
It's not as neat because...
Provia 100F is a very stable film, so testing is a little tricky. From all the measured data I've been able to find, the best fit for it's reciprocity characteristics is as follows:
y = 0.9727x +...
An almost perfect fit for the reciprocity failure of Ilford black & white films (they provide the same graph for every film) is the equation:
y = 1.953x + 0.1064x^2
Where x is the metered exposure...
I should add that is for Velvia 50.
Brian, based on experimental evidence acquired by another photographer my father plotted and derived the following formula.
Corrected = 0.90842 * Indicated^1.24
Applies only once the indicated...
Thanks Carsten :) I'm really excited to try it out!
Sorry to resurrect an old thread!
I just bought a 135/3.5 first version for $195 and had to share somewhere.
I'm familiar with how the store rates items and a 9/9+ is basically mint. Aside from a...
All valid points. I would have purchased locally but there is no longer an Ebony dealer in Australia. When I asked Jeff I provided every opportunity to refuse.
Thankfully Jeff has come through...
Just a word of warning to anyone thinking of importing into Australia from Badger Graphic, although Jeff agreed to keep the customs declaration down to under $900 (I'm aware this is against their...
