    Re: c41 uneven development?

It's no problem! I enjoy the discussions here. Thanks for all the info. I didn't think of the scanner, will have to check that. Though, these marks are pretty much exactly the same as some I got on...

    Re: c41 uneven development?

I was using constant agitation because that is what Kodak's procedure calls for so that shouldn't be an issue for me. I usually don't have many photos at once so the BTZS tubes small volume seemed to...

    Re: c41 uneven development?

I thought it was simple but my last batch looked quite poor as you can see from my previous thread. Though, these were lab processed and aren't 100% perfect either. Really unfortunate to shoot 4x5...

    c41 uneven development?

My own attempts at developing c41 weren't going very well so I decided to send the last batch out again. Am I expecting too much or is there some other issue here? Looks like some form of uneven...

Thanks. I went out there at about 5am a few weeks ago to take some photos because it's a beautiful area. Then I went in to play a round of golf afterwards. I told the guy I was the one out on the...

A btzs tube is cheap and works really well. Definitely do not need the full set. Used HP Combiplan works too.

Re: How is "double coating" in pt/pd

For Platinum and Kallitypes I've pretty much always double coated with a brush. I would get much better blacks where before it could look a tad spotty. I would put my first coat on one piece of paper...
  14. Re: Where to find Large format Camera Tripods on a student budget?

I use a Gitzo 320 studex that I got for $129 on Ebay. It is aluminum and very sturdy. I've used a Calumet C1 extended way out with a heavy lens on it and it performed great. 4x5 is a piece of cake.
