Out of the game for 6 months.

I've been living on a boat for 3 months and want paying too much attention before that. Any news in the lf world in the meantime? New films/dead films/new chemicals/tanks etc?

    I'm pondering a...

Re: Any idea which lens this shot with?

I think a lot of lenses could mimic this wide open. I shot this with the Mamiya C330 80mm wide open. Not the same but similar, I think.

Re: Your favorite, mostly harmless, stop & fix?

xtol/water/TF-4 is fairly benign chemical wise. I develop in the kitchen, don't feel too guilty about having that stuff around my roommates.

yep. shoot 4x5. maybe 5x7. make your mistakes. Unless you have some very, very patient teacher and/or a lot of money.

The point of 11x14 is bigger contact prints. (at least to me). End of...

Does anyone have a suggestion for a cheap version of this for Linhof boards:

Seems like something could be re-purposed. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Re: processing drum question

    Re: Options for 5x7 development

    I bought a JOBO 3010. You can do 10 4x5s (that's what it's made for) but I've also done 5 5x7s, without difficulty.

I've used various print 11x14 print drums but I've never been able to get one...

    $500 new for a 3010? Just crazy.

Have they been making expert drums all along? I didn't realize you could buy new ones.

  33. Why is my Epson 4900 making roll prints that are 17x22 7/8 instead of 17x22?
