You should also make sure that it is not "UV" glass. That is to say a glass with some kind of UV coating.

I just got back from 4 days in Yosemite (6 sheets 12x20, 20 sheets 4x5, 3 sheets Type 55) and had a stack of truly wonderful prints waiting for me.

You will need those calibration bits (the film strip and the plaque) to get this unit properly calibrated.
