Another process that I didn't see noted is Mark Nelson's PDN process. I've been working with it for little while and took one of Mark's workshops. It does give you some flexibility that some of the...
I just picked up a iPhone 4 yesterday. This is the first paid for app I got. It's just what I've been looking for. My latest torn up note book has been put on the shelf with the others.
What I...
I just attended a 4 day PDN http://www.precisiondigitalnegatives.com/index.html in the San Francisco Bay area. It was amazing. The control that you get with the process is really an eye opening...
If you can sit tight another month or so I will be selling my V700 with full Silverfast AI software and a Scan Science wet mount system.
I'm waiting for my new (used Creo IQSmart1) scanner to show...
Darr,
You have shown an enormous amount of restraint with your neighbor. I'm afraid that if he had injured one of my cats he would have mysteriously disappeared. California deserts and Florida...
You should also make sure that it is not "UV" glass. That is to say a glass with some kind of UV coating.

I just got back from 4 days in Yosemite (6 sheets 12x20, 20 sheets 4x5, 3 sheets Type 55) and had a stack of truly wonderful prints waiting for me.
This was my first ever print exchange.
Darr,...
Looks like two Dougs shipped prints today.
Mine went out USPS.
Thanks,
Doug
I'll be printing this weekend. Can't wait to see what everyone else is going to do!

You could try the EFI ColorProof XF products. I work for EFI, but not with the group that works on the XF products.
It may be worth a look.

This will be my first time in the print exchange. Put me on the list.
Thanks,
Doug
This unit is part of one of the first Xerox copier systems made. The complete systems came with the camera, and a transfer and fusing box. It's quite a system. If you go to a larger Xerox office...
Thanks everyone for the info. Looks like I will be giving Pyrocat HD a go. Also thanks for the tips on the fix.

Hello,
I'm getting ready to take the plunge into Pyro. I currently use T-Max 400 with T-Max RS dev in my JOBO processor for my 4x5 and 12x20 negs. I print PT/PD as well as scanning the 4x5 negs...
You will need those calibration bits (the film strip and the plaque) to get this unit properly calibrated.
Here is the url for the manual from xrite:...
Maybe I should try stepping on more of my negs!:D
It's not one that most folks think about when AA comes to mind, but it's my favorite.

I can tell you I'm more impressed with the camera every time I use it. I bought the 12x20 last year. I was new to ULF cameras so I didn't really know all that I was in for. I can tell you that...
I had the same problem. I did my tests using 400 TMAX on 4x5 film. My target process is PD/PT and I use a Jobo processor for my film. My other film size is 12x20. Not wanting to blow through a...
I go out to Moab a couple times a year. It's one of the most amazing places on the planet. If you do have a 4x4 with decent clearance and a little experience offroading you can get to some...
The 12x20 is new. It was the last one from his last production run.
I don't have any negs yet processesd as I just got it last week.
I'm working a week in Honolulu, then to Volcano for a few...
Although I don't have a Ritter 8x10, I did just pick up a Ritter 12x20. All I can say is WOW!
This thing has more movements than P.T Barnum contortionist. I got it and the next day drove up to...
Patrik,
How old was the neg? The issue is with the new 100 TMax, not the old TMax 100.

I have been to a few Sexton talks and the two images of AA that I have seen him show as straight prints are Moonrise and Monolith. Sexton also shows a few of his own straight prints including a few...
Point "A" is true.
I beat my head against the wall on Sunday trying to PT print some new negs with 100 T-Max. That film is now dead to me.

Doug
Wow, that was quick.
Thank you very much for the help!

Hi,
I picked up a Dunwright & Vogel 11x14 ProWasher from ebay about a month ago. The person that I purchased it from did not have an instruction manual on it. Does anyone out there have a manual...
The glass is broken in one and scratched in two others.
Thanks for the info,
Doug
I need to replace the glass in a number of contact print frames. Any suggestions on the type of glass I should be using?
Thanks,
Doug
