  3. Re: printing cyanotypes on hahnemuhle platinum rag (challenges)

For anybody in the UK reading this Tween 20 is readily available from Amazon. Just type in Polysorbate Tween and there it is. I've just ordered some.

    Cyanotypes on rice paper

I'm going to try and produce some cyanotypes on rice paper. I have no idea why, I just want to try it.
    I have two questions.
1/. If you do this do you size the rice paper? If so what with?
    2/. How...

    Re: Mixing My Own Chemistry

I mix D-76H. It's easy relatively cheap and it's never let me down. Water stop bath and a neutral or alkali fixer. I use Foma films and I've found through experience that it's best to stay away from...

Re: Copal #3 Disassembly and Cleaning

I'm in the UK but Flutots are brilliant. Quick service, reasonably priced and nice people to deal with.
  9. Re: Sustainability of 8x10 film given the pricing situation

I might get jumped on but have you considered Foma. I like it but I haven't bought any for a few years now. It used to be shipped from Norway and that's non EU. Always got great service and...

    Re: MPP - newbie question

I agree with Andrew as well. Limited movements and vastly over engineered. The MPP press version is even worse. Wista 45 DX are nice cameras. I always liked my B&J 5x7, a lot of people slag them off...

Re: Age of Typical B&J 5x7

Thanks for your answers, and yes it is one of the "battleship grey" models. I think that it's great and as my other options are the Ansco and a Sinar Norma it's relatively light.

Re: Help with glass plate negative

My De Vere 54A has a HALF plate film holder (not whole plate) and half plate film occasionally turns up as do half plate film holders. I doubt that a whole plate holder would fit the enlarger.
