    Re: Photo ideas for photography?

    What's wrong with Hackney?!!!

You were too critical and negative. Maybe you can't shoot from the hip with LF, perhaps others can (I've done it, though not with 8x10). I'm not sorry to point it...

Re: A slight problem with some shots...

This link could be useful for reciprocity times for Foma 100:

For counting seconds, the seconds hand on a wristwatch (if...

Re: New 8x10 Cameras from Italy for under $1,000?

Thanks for the other link. Before I'd seen the photos I thought Vinny's comments above sounded a bit harsh, but now I see his point. It reminds me of IKEA.

Re: What do you do with your slide film?

When I want to use slide film, I just use it, get it processed then do nothing with it (apart from occasionally showing the slides to people telling me I need to go digital - Velvia 50 tends to end...

Re: Zeiss Double Protar 22 and 29cm lens

Good luck with that shutter, the dial set shutters seem quite simple and reliable, so hopefully you can get it going.

Re: Zeiss Double Protar 22 and 29cm lens

Hmm, medium format roll film with long Protar cells? It sounds interesting. What film are you using, and are the cells uncoated? I like uncoated cells with colour films.

Re: Zeiss Double Protar 22 and 29cm lens

Yes, I've got a 22cm/22cm Protar, probably smaller cells than yours, similar shutter (with the same scale in mm). I like it a lot, took it trekking to Nepal with me. If you want to sell yours at a...

Re: Hello, new to LF forum

    Hi Pitxu,

The terminology gets a bit confusing (sellers on ebay call them all sorts). Think that plate holder is probably the correct term for what you are looking for, and the inserts are most...

Re: Hello, new to LF forum

Pitxu, you have a Maximar? Are you looking for film sheaths, or for the plate holders? The plate holders are quite easy to find for those (comparatively easier than for an Ideal). Some 9x12 film...

Re: Hello, new to LF forum

Thanks William, hope the mention of 110 brings back some happy memories for you.

The formats I've used keep getting larger, but I'm pretty sure I was more creative as a kid! I hope to hone some...

    Hello, new to LF forum

Hello, I'm new to this forum, I've only recently started to use a 9x12 plate camera. I'm from Wales, but have spent most of the last few years in Seoul, South Korea. I should go back to Seoul pretty...
