  1. Re: Should i lubricate parts on the Calumet CC400?

Its not pressurised.. as just a drop is enough and it spreads out over the area within seconds.

I cleaned the track out with steel wool and made the rail nice and smooth, cleaned all the joints,...
  2. Re: Should i lubricate parts on the Calumet CC400?

This lubricant doesn't attract that kind of stuff, it cost about $15 for 60mL.

Actually why did I say graphite, this is part of whats in it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polytetrafluoroethylene
  3. Should i lubricate parts on the Calumet CC400?

Eg, the track on the rail?

I'd be using dry lubricant (graphite)

Everything was a little stiff so I'm currently cleaning it up well, make it nice and smooth again.

  5. Re: Remove Ektar 127mm (Speed G) from it's lens board?

Sounsd like for the time being I'm better off gaffa taping it in it's board to one of the calumet boards for the time being so I can return it to the speed graphic.
  6. Remove Ektar 127mm (Speed G) from it's lens board?

Just wondering how you remove the lens from the speed graphic lens board to put on another lens board.

On the back it has the raised ring with three holes in it that surrounds the rear element of...

Re: Any Examples of Upswept vs S-curve in prints?

    Hi,

I'm not interested in playing with Photoshop on a random image.

I want to see images other people have printed in the darkroom from a negative with an upswept curve or S-shaped curve.

    I...

Any Examples of Upswept vs S-curve in prints?

    Hey,

Can anyone share examples of upswept curves on film enlarged in the dark room and s-shaped curves as well.

I'd like to see some side by side.

Images tend to disappear from old...
  11. Re: Toyo, Calumet, or Sinar? Which is right for me?

Yeah one went for ~$200 including international shipping, which is about how much I picked up the speed graphic for, outrageous!

Can ge a nice F1 for ~$500 AUD which is good.
  12. Toyo, Calumet, or Sinar? Which is right for me?

The Sinar looks the nicest, but I'm not sure which is for me.

I've already got one working 4x5 camera (Speed Graphic w 127/4.7 Ektar), so I want something a little more serious now.

    Includes...
