    Re: post your trees!

    4x5 Portra 400 cropped to 4x4, 135mm Sironar-S, f22 1/3, 1 hour.

I was really guessing on the exposure for this. The scene was lit by 2 street lights, one 75 feet to the right and one over 200...

More generally, it is a color model term. Anything the model is applied to has it.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I even did one where I was sitting on a rock on the other side wearing a black shirt to look like a pupil. Unfortunately, I didn't like my posture much so I...

Yeah, but the shadows shifted more than I expected and the clouds much less. I think it was 1 minute exposure at 5 minute intervals for the colors and then 15 seconds for the one without a filter...

  12. Re: Is there any use for all of these old holders?

So aside from a toothpaste dispenser everything is trash but the plate holders. That's about what I thought. That's all fine because I was really only hoping that the plate holders could be put to...
  13. Is there any use for all of these old holders?

Completely agree. Could you add a bit of detail about your holders and the maximum apertures you typically use with them? I have crappy holders and usually stick to f16 and f32 for 4x5 and 8x10,...

Maybe at 4x or 5x, but if you can't distinguish the difference between f22 and f45 at a 10x enlargement then there is something wrong with your system.

  36. Re: "Focus" problem that is driving me insane
