Re: Petzval lenses, Bigger is better

I agree, and make sure you have well written meta tags. If you do that you are almost guaranteed decent positioning on search results considering the nature of the subject.

  4. Re: West Coast Imaging institutes a minimum order fee

I remember when WCI actually tried to keep their customers happy.
The last two orders from them were WRONG. One on a tight deadline shipped the wrong quantities

Re: Some Soft Focus Lens Sales Information

I set my snipe at $259 and went to bed. Imagine my surprise the next morning at $840, hahaha, all I could do was laugh at "someone".
Well the packard was worth at least $59, thus my "high" bid.

    Re: April portraits

    Hi Raffay,
That's exactly what happened. Your safelight app on the ipad is not safe.

well I can't find any reference of a 240/9 with 35.5 filter threads, however, 35.5mm is a spec for filter thread on the 150/9-W, and the 105/4.5 tessar.
I would tend to trust your measurement in...

    Re: Graphic-Kowa 360mm f/9 coverage?

I can definitively say that the copy I had did NOT cover 12x20 at infinity. It was near an inch and half short on each side. Other than that it was a fantastic lens. Great contrast, color, and very...

Re: In praise of Divided Pyrocat

I've been doing 12x20 in trays but I'm considering trying a piece of 4" PVC on a unicolor base. Is this going to work or be a problem?

Not sure exactly how to go about it. I guess glue the cap on...
