  1. Re: Weird, Odd, and Unlikely Lenses - Recommendations Please

Lol. Well well well . . . I think the vagueness is to limit auto flags for promotion and advertising or selling.

In any case It was perfectly understood. Although, I will add that I use Yahoo...
  2. Re: Weird, Odd, and Unlikely Lenses - Recommendations Please

    Technically no.

The "exposure time" is somewhat determined buy the scanning speed (which can be set with with a custom DPI setting)

    BTW
    Thank you for the suggestions.

  3. Weird, Odd, and Unlikely Lenses - Recommendations Please

  4. Re: A Fishy Idea - Is Stereoscopic or 3D Images a crazy Idea or even possible?

    Perfect!

Thank you! I preferred not to 'Cha-cha-cha' since lining up camera after moving (even if it's just parallel) but a if a shift is doable then I'll do a test.

    I'm not worried about a...

    sounds great!

I'll post images of the CIS assembly and my methods when I get home.

  9. Re: Unusual LF Canon LiDe (Scanner) Camera Project Needs Basic Lens Suggestions.

I think proper 'calibration' is needed to reduce the lines.

I tweak some of the settings (mostly, black and white point) but i think the lines have more to due with the mechanical motion and any...

  11. Probably a dumb question lens/aperture question . . .

I'm doing some research on this now but I figured I'd ask here in case someone had an answer.

Hmmm, I don't think it was a vague question (labrat)

    Maintenance and Lubrication

I have a vintage Toyo 4x5 that I bought in an estate sale.

The camera will take hours to properly clean but before I finish I was curious to know what lubricants do you use for your controls.
