I also have one. It adds an additional 4 inches. It seems to be aluminum, with rough casting painted black on the inside. The outside is smooth black paint.
There is a store price tag still on...

I like it. Very ethereal.
Welcome, Grzegorz. That's a great print especially for one made with a carton camera and scavenged lens. It has that old-time look from 150+ years ago. I wish you well in your making a camera and...
I think the flowers are given too much emphasis (about 50% of the picture area). So I am not sure exactly what is the main subject. Perhaps, cropping out the lowest three flowers will restore...
Andrew Glover (dagor77) used to sell these on eBay. I just checked and he does not list any right now.
I've had an M1 for two-three years and have had no troubles with it. It is very noisy, grunts and groans a lot but continues to work fine. My only complaint is that is is extremely SLOW! To scan a...
Don't worry about touching the wires. Just don't breathe the dust.
Oh my, yes! Photographs are made in a wet darkroom. Pictures are made the other way.
I found that 200 gives me a good Zone I (0.10 above B+F) in XTOL 1+1.
Basement darkroom here. Kind of cold in the winter but nice in the summer. Scan on a Microtek M1 for a quick peek but wet is the best.
I learned on my Dad's '39 Chevy with a vacuum-assisted shifter. You couldn't budge that thing unless the engine was running. We actually broke off the plastic extension on the lever by trying so it...

First of all, the sun will not be completely covered so you will not be in darkness, needing a long exposure. The sun will only be covered 88% at maximum eclipse so a lot of light will still be...
A non-issue, methinks. If the FS/WTB item is something I'm not interested in, I pass right on by. Don't care how many times it gets bumped or pinched or whatever.
Amazon has it for $16.47. Also for Colorado and Washington.

What was your time and temperature? I've got some holders with unknown films inside. Maybe this is worth doing???
I have an early CPP-2 and it doesn't have a drain, either. That must have been added after Jobo received many complaints.
Where in NE OH? Do you have a name?

I use XTOL and always pre-soak at least one minute.
What kind of foam do you use?
Sometimes I shoot RVP at EI 40 to open the shadows a bit. Of course the white highlights could get blown out. The deep shadow on your second shot probably is too deep. But I still like your pics.
Do you calibrate with a step wedge?
I checked with my insurance company (the good hands guys) and the contents of my storage unit are covered as personal property. It is not necessary that I list the contents or the location. Of...
And only economy shipping? For that price, I'd hand deliver it anywhere!
'Tis a beauty, for sure!
The Calumet C-1 takes 6x6 inch boards with rounded corners, same as the Deardorff board. Square-corner boards will not fit.

Well said, John. As a member of the vast community of lousy photographers, I have yet to find a lens which will correct all my faults or any of them, actually.
It's good that you want to develop your own B&W negatives. You can learn and correct your own mistakes but may not be able to do the same for a lab. I started developing B&W in 1971 when I got some...
I have an ArtixScan M1. I like the results with it but it is SLOW! And it grunts and groans a lot when scanning, too.
As the wing enters the liquid, it scoops up some amount and as rotation continues, delivers it to the sheets following it. When rotation reverses, the opposite edge does the scooping. This enables...
My 90mm SA rear cap says "s/n 223726.1 57mm" on the inside. Hope this helps.

I'll go in for 100 sheets.

I get B+F density readings of about 0.2 -0.3 for both 35mm (fresh APX-100 in Rodinal 1+50) and 4x5 FP4 (long out of date in Xtol 1+1). This gives PEI 0f 80 and 100, respectively. Negatives of...
Cokin P adapters are available up to at least 82mm.
The Zone System Craftbook by John Charles Woods is a good book to learn how to find your own Personal Exposure Index (PEI) as well as N, N+, and N- development processes for each film/developer...
I wear my regular glasses with my rangefinders and when I am finished, I wash the eyeball grease off the lens. ;)
An excellent book is The Zone System Craftbook by John Charles Woods. It has chapters on "Zone System Visual Testing" as well as "Basic Testing Using the Densitometer". (I use a densitometer)
I...
You may send it all to me. I have a way of disposing of it properly. :D
